The Information We Need and How We Use It

When you place an order, we will require your name, address and e-mail contact. Without this information we would not be able to process your order or notify you of acceptance of your order.

A contact telephone number is also required so that we may contact you urgently if there is any problem with your order. Your information will be passed to our couriers or other agents so as we can process the delivery of your order.

Security of Your Information

We follow a tight security procedure as required under UK Data Protection Legislation (the Data Protection Act 1998). We do not store any of your personal financial details once payment has been completed.

Your Rights

If, for any reason, you are unsure about the personal information we are holding in your name, please contact our customer service team. They will happily review your file and update the records if required. You can contact our customer service team by email, phone or fax.

We do not store any of our customers financial details, if we were required to disclose your information by a court order or to comply with legal requirements, we will use reasonable endeavors to notify you before we do so, unless we are legally restricted from doing so.

Use of 'Cookies'

Our cookies do not contain any personal information about you and are used only to enable the shopping basket facility to function effectively. Your browser software should enable you not to accept cookies, you will still be able to use our site without cookies enabled, although you would need to place your order by another form of contact. We are here to assist you in these circumstances.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Making a Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Please find calculators to help you work out your exact requirements. Most people feel more comfortable placing orders over the phone or after receiving advice. We are here to assist 9am – 5pm Monday – Friday and some Saturdays. Not normally available over bank holiday weekends. Just browse our Catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them in your shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on “Check out” and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy your order. The prices are all exclusive of VAT.

Should you have any difficulties in using the shopping cart, please do not hesitate to contact us. We also take orders over the telephone 0118 941 6336.

By submitting an order, you are accepting the Terms and Conditions of the Imaginere.co.uk website and are entering into a legally binding contract.

The easiest safest way to pay is by using a credit or debit card although you can use your Paypal account or other means provided by the easy to use Paypal systems.

We do not take payments unless we have your purchases in stock at the time of ordering. You can also pay by cheque; this can take 7 working days to clear, so stock would not be dispatched until payment has been cleared.

You may if you wish put a 30% deposit down on your order. We will then hold any product and price given at the time, for a period of up to one month. The remainder of the monies being due when a delivery date is arranged. Please note a deposit in law is deemed to be a binding contract and non refundable whether a stocked item or a special order.

Orders

Once your order has been submitted and received we will send confirmation of the details via email. Please check the details of your order and raise any queries immediately. Your order is a legally binding contract and we shall supply in accordance with such. Alterations and cancellations of an order may result in additional costs.

Customer satisfaction is paramount, so the company will be as fair as possible.

There is no minimum order value.

CANCELLATIONS

If you need to cancel your order prior to dispatch please advise so we can offer a full refund. If your goods have already been dispatched you will be liable for the delivery charge. A refund would be made within 14 working days.

RETURNS POLICY

If you are not entirely delighted with the products that you have chosen you may return them to us within 7 days of receipt. We will be more than happy to offer you an exchange or a refund provided that the products are returned complete, in perfect condition, unused, and with the original packaging. Imaginere, accept no liability for any costs incurred for the return of goods, unless in the opinion of Imaginere the goods are deemed faulty.

Please email or write to us stating your intent to return items quoting your order reference number.

IMPORTANT

If your order is for products that have been cut to a specific size for you, i.e. curtains, blinds, flooring etc, your order will be processed 24 hours after receipt, thus to give you time to cancel if you wish to do so. As these items are measured and cut to the customer specification, after 24 hours, the order can not be cancelled and refunded in full, although depending on size etc we may be able to offer a refund reduced by a 30% handling charge.

Please be sure all measurements are accurate.

We only accept liability for items which are damaged on arrival or products delivered that do not match the paid invoice mailed to you. In case of a verbal order (by telephone) you will receive confirmation e-mail to ensure the order is correct.

We can only refund delivery costs if the return is a result of our error.

DELIVERY & STOCK INFORMATION

Delivery Information

We anticipate that most deliveries will be made within 3-5 working days. You will be advised within 2 working days of placing your order. You can make a request for a specific date which we will Endeavour to meet but we can not often give times of delivery. Delivery charges vary for the items which you are purchasing, if you purchase items that have two different prices for delivery it would be the higher of the two values which would be charged. You would not pay two delivery charges.

All deliveries are made to “kerbside” at the nearest access point to the delivery address for the delivery vehicle. The driver may need help unloading the products. It is assumed that the delivery address will be accessible by lorry. If there is likely to be a problem, i.e. road is subject to weight or width limit please inform us at the time of order. We are unable to give an estimate of delivery time as this is at the courier’s discretion but the delivery will be made between 8.00am and 6.00pm.

If the delivery driver is unable to deliver at your address on the arranged delivery date because you are not there you will be liable for the re delivery charge.

Please inspect all your goods on delivery as no claims with regard to damaged items can be made after delivery unless signed for as damaged with the driver. Although every effort is made to ensure that your goods are delivered in perfect condition, in the event some of your goods are damaged we will collect and replace the products if required. Please note we currently only have the facility to ship products to UK addresses.

Delivery surcharges maybe incurred for deliveries to some addresses in Scotland & Ireland. Please do enquire prior to placing an order if you live in the stated areas. These costs are purely reasonable costs given by the courier companies. Imaginere make no profit from such charges.

Stock

We endeavour to display through this website all items in our current internet range. We order some items on your behalf directly from our suppliers and will despatch your order once these items have been received. We will aim to despatch these orders within 3-5 working days. Occasionally an item will be out of stock at our warehouse or at our suppliers and we will endeavour to update our website with this information as soon as possible. If for any reason this has not been achieved we will contact you with an estimated delivery date for your order. If this was unacceptable to you, any payment made would be refunded within 2 working days.

Flooring

Colours/shading sometimes varies between batches. Therefore, an installation which requires the use of more than one roll the products could differ. Shading and pressure bands, a tendency inherent in all pile fabrics, are due to unequal pressure on the pile surface.

There is a cutting allowance of 1.25% in accordance with British Standards, (BS3655).

We recommend the use of new underlay when installing a carpet. Old underlay can cause premature wearing.

Any floor covering supplied by Imaginere should be carried out by a qualified carpet fitter in accordance with BS5325 2001.

Curtains & Blinds

Whilst we will make every effort to supply the products exactly to the measurements supplied by you, please note that due to shrinkage, pattern matching and certain production techniques we will not be liable for any difference of up to two centimeters between your stated measurements and the finished products.

Guarantees

Imaginere wants you to be totally satisfied with all of your purchases. We offer a manufacturers guarantee on all our products. Please contact us immediately if you have any concerns. Fitting costs and consequential costs are not normally accepted. If you feel a product is faulty please be advised this may incur a cost for an independent inspection which will be refunded on confirmation of the fault.

Imaginere values and will support its customers at all times, resolving any problems as promptly as possible. Terms and Conditions of sales and purchases in our online shop are regulated by the relevant laws laid down by the United Kingdom only.

COMPLAINTS

We endeavour to maintain a high level of customer service and we will do our utmost to ensure our customers are completely satisfied. However, in the unfortunate event you feel a need to complain please contact the office in the first instance expressing your concerns and the nature of your complaint. Confirmation of which will be required in writing to protect both parties and to resolve the issues as quickly and efficiently as possible.

These terms and conditions and your use of our web site are governed by English law and you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English court. This does not affect your non-excludable statutory rights.

Disclaimer of Warranties and Indemnity

The Website and its contents are provided by us without any representation, term, condition or warranty of any kind, either express or implied (and whether implied by law, custom or otherwise) in respect of the Website and/or its content. You must bear the risks associated with the use of the Internet. To the full extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable to you or any third party for any loss or damage which may arise from the use of any content on the Website or access to the Website.

This web site and our terms and conditions have been designed for use within the United Kingdom and under English law.

A Contract between the customer and Imaginere for the sale of our products will only exist once an order has been accepted, processed and dispatched (at which point the buyers credit/debit card will be charged for the value of the goods dispatched, plus postage where appropriate). This does not affect the customer's statutory rights.

Transfer

You may not transfer your rights and/or delegate your duties under these Terms and Conditions to any other person.
